Terms of Service

Cousin Server Manager is a locally-installed Windows application (a "control panel") for managing ARK: Survival Ascended dedicated servers that you own or operate. A core set of features is free to use forever. Additional advanced features - Auto-Update Monitor, Advanced Plugin Management, Cluster Grouping, Restore Backups, Scheduler, Ban Manager, and Multi-user Account Management - are unlocked with a paid license key (1-Year or Lifetime).

Everything we sell is a digital good: a software license key that unlocks features inside the app. Nothing physical is shipped, and there is no subscription to a hosted service - the app itself always runs locally on your own machine.

• Payments are processed securely through PayPal. We never see or store your full card details.
• License keys are generated and activated automatically (or shortly after, manually via Discord) once payment is confirmed.
• The 1-Year License auto-renews annually until cancelled. You can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of the paid period.
• The Lifetime License is a single one-time payment that never expires and never renews.

Because license keys are generated and activated immediately upon purchase, all sales are final - we don't offer refunds simply because you changed your mind. That said, if something's actually broken (a bug, an activation issue, a duplicate charge, etc.), message us on Discord first. We respond quickly and will always try to make it right.

• A license key is tied to you/your machine(s) and is meant for your own use - please don't share, resell, or redistribute license keys.
• A single license unlocks unlimited servers on the machine(s) it's activated on, as described on the Pricing page at time of purchase.
• We reserve the right to revoke a license key if it's used fraudulently, shared publicly, or used to abuse the service.

Don't use Cousin Server Manager to do anything illegal, to attack or disrupt other people's servers or systems, or to reverse-engineer the licensing system in order to bypass payment. Beyond that - it's your server, run it how you like.

Cousin Server Manager is an independent, unofficial tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Studio Wildcard, Snail Games, or Valve/Steam. "ARK: Survival Ascended" is a trademark of its respective owners. The app also integrates with third-party tools like AsaApiLoader, CurseForge, SteamCMD, and Discord, each of which has their own terms - we're not responsible for how those third-party services operate.

Cousin Server Manager is provided "as-is," without warranties of any kind. We work hard to keep it stable and bug-free, but server management software can interact with save files, backups, and live processes - things can occasionally go wrong. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any lost data, lost revenue, server downtime, or other damages resulting from use of the app. Always keep your own independent backups of anything you can't afford to lose.

We may update these Terms occasionally as the product evolves. If we make meaningful changes, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Cousin Server Manager after changes means you accept the updated terms.
